This work presents an interactive curtain interface that transforms everyday curtains into touch-sensitive surfaces using capacitive sensing. By enabling gesture-based control of lights, fans, and other appliances, these \u201cCurtain UIs\u201d demonstrate the feasibility of turning passive textiles into active interfaces. A Virtual Reality Approach to Overcome Glossophobia among University Students<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This study evaluates “Manch,” a Virtual Reality Exposure Therapy (VRET) tool designed to reduce Public Speaking Anxiety (PSA) among university students. Conducted with 28 participants, results showed a significant drop in PSA after simulated classroom presentations in a realistic VR environment. Participant interviews further highlighted VRET\u2019s effectiveness and potential for future interventions.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

This work presents KaavadBits, a tabletop installation inspired by the Indian storytelling tradition of kaavad baanchana, reimagining it through interactive branching narratives. Using Panchatantra tales, audiences engage with a tree-shaped narrator via tokens for a multi-modal storytelling experience.
