Our Core Research Domains User Experience (UX) and Interaction Design We delve into the principles of usability and aesthetics to craft intuitive and engaging user experiences. We aim to enhance how users interact with technology, making it seamless and enjoyable. Tangible &#038; Embodied Interactions (TEI) We explore the fusion of the physical and digital worlds through Tangible and Embodied User Interfaces and Interactions. Our research aims to create interfaces where users can touch, manipulate, and interact more naturally and intuitively. Extended Reality (XR) and the Metaverse We specialize in XR technologies, including Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR). Our work in the Metaverse focuses on developing immersive experiences that transcend traditional boundaries, opening new avenues for interaction and engagement. Design Research Our lab is committed to advancing the field of Design through rigorous research. We investigate new methods, tools, and frameworks to better understand and solve complex design problems. By bridging theory and practice, we aim to push the boundaries Bharat-Centric HCI: Embracing Culture and Innovation While our lab embraces diverse and imaginative approaches, we hold a special affinity for designs that resonate with Bharat. We are passionate about creating solutions that understand, reflect, and embrace Bharat\u2019s rich culture, diverse needs, and boundless potential. Our Bharat-centric HCI explorations intertwine cultural richness with cutting-edge HCI technologies to develop innovative solutions that are culturally relevant and technologically advanced. Key Projects and Initiatives Cultural Heritage Preservation Utilizing XR to create immersive experiences that preserve and promote Bharat\u2019s cultural heritage.
