Dr. Anmol Srivastava

Dr. Anmol Srivastava is an HCI designer focused on leveraging emerging technologies to enhance utility, usability, and creative self-expression. His research centers on Bharat-Centric HCI, aiming to develop solutions tailored to India's unique needs and contexts.
Dr. Srivastava completed his Ph.D. under the guidance of Prof. Pradeep Yammiyavar at the UE and HCI Lab, Department of Design, IIT Guwahati. His doctoral research earned several accolades, including national and international travel grants and prestigious awards. In 2017, he represented the SIGCHI community and the future of HCI research as an ACM SIGCHI Student Ambassador from India at the 50th Turing Award Ceremony in San Francisco. The Turing Award, often called the Nobel Prize for Computer Science, highlights the importance of his contributions.
His primary research interests include AR/VR/MR, Tangible Interaction, UX Design, and Physical Computing.
